Our Lindy Hop classes are filled with smiles and laughter, along with some great moves to get you on that dance floor. Although you require a partner to dance with, don’t worry, if you don’t have one to bring there will be plenty there, as we rotate everyone around throughout the lesson.
Don’t forget your footwear! Make sure you have comfy and supportive shoes but not too grippy on the soles.

The tea dance will be held in the Ballroom, you will be dancing to live music from Leandre Jazz and to delight your taste buds, you will be served with the famous Lupton House Christmas cream tea.
There is also a licensed bar if you fancy to purchase a tipple or two!

Collegiate Shag Refresher Workshop
This is a workshop for those who have at least a little bit of experience in dancing collegiate shag. You will need to know the basic rhythm. The first hour we will run through some simple shapes, getting you back in the groove. The second hour we will step up to a few more fun moves, ensuring you have enough to get on that dance floor.
£24 per person
There will be a 15 min break between the 2 hours for a quick tea/coffee/biscuit break.

Ignite new confidence and showcase your best self where you will sparkle and shine.
Laurie and Mandy will guide you through a fun workshop that focuses on posture and framing incorporating expressive movement and dance with increased confidence and attitude.
A safe, comfortable and fun environment encourages participation in all aspects of this unique workshop.
We hope you can join us as we share our passion for body positivity, confidence building and our experience of dance and performing.

Have you seen Laurie and Pete on the dance floor? Probably not, as they are not from this area!
But they will be at our Social Dance on Friday7th November
Well they throw some great shapes…….so be prepared for a fun filled workshop with some fancy moves thrown in.
For this Balboa Workshop – some previous balboa experience would be useful but not necessary as we will run through the basic rhythms at the beginning, as a warm up.
This will be 2 x 1hr(ish) sessions with a break in the middle.
Going through some standard moves and shapes to help tidy up and improve your technique.
Then working through some great Bal-Swing moves throughout the workshop!
£24 per person
We will rotate to help with your lead and follow techniques, so you can book without a partner.
